In case you wondered, my house is ALWAYS tidy. Not.

Downstairs sports two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a laundry room no less.

And my favourite part?

That it’s always sunny on the inside!

I know, doesn’t it have the same feel?

Reminds me sooo much of the little cabin in the woods the 6 of us lived in prior to moving to Hawaii. 800 square feet of coziness on the inside and hundreds of miles of national forest on the outside. We lived outside no matter the weather. I always had a bonfire going outside in the winter so the boys could warm up if they needed to without traipsing all the dirt, mud or snow inside. Your pictures bring tears to my eyes just thinking back on those times. Enjoy your time there. You will treasure those memories forever.

    • Corli says:

Oh, thank you for your lovely comment! And for the reminder to treasure the time – I have an idea it won’t be forever. Hope you have a wonderful New Year.

  3. ah reflects your families beauty and warmth….(ps love that blue dresser!!) Love to all

    • Corli says:

Thank you, Shells! That dresser used to be plain pine with leaded glass doors at the top, if you can imagine. A dear church friend was responsible for the transformation, and it makes me insanely happy, I must confess!
We’ll be seeing you soon. Lots of love.

It is absolutely stunning! How lovely to be able picture where you all are living. Hope you all have had a lovely Christmas on the island. We’re praying that the New Year will bring the Lord’s continued blessing and shalom to your family. Much love from the Wards.

    • Corli says:

Dear Wards, thank you so much for your love across the miles, it is just lovely to hear from you. Wish we could come for a wee visit, but stuck here we are until we become Canadian permanent residents (still waiting). Wishing you much joy for the New Year too! Lots of love from us all.

I can see the warmth and love in your plek from the great pics. May your white Christmas and New Year celebrations be extra special this time…..with hot chocolate and mum’s stew.

    • Corli says:

Hellooooo, so nice to hear from you from down under. Wish we had some mum’s stew over here, but french toast with maple syrup it will be on New Year’s day – not too bad, right! Blessings for the year on your side too. Love to all the family.
